Leadership Development Cohorts
A two-year commitment to growth in community for Christian leaders and counselors.

In 2017, Isaiah 40 started a Cohort initiative, introducing to its services a two-year program based on the training for the Isaiah 40 Team. Leadership Development Cohorts are intended for individuals who are pursuing wholeness and seeking a deeper integration with the gospel. We seek to help grow mature, resilient leaders who will be faithful and fruitful in life and mission.

The Cohort program is designed for a group of no more than ten people, combining readings, group meetings, one-on-one meetings, and retreats. This combination allows for a deeper and more personalized grasp of Isaiah 40’s content.

Our Cohort program costs $150 per month per participant.

That being said, prices are negotiable on an individual basis, in keeping with Isaiah 40’s philosophy that financials should not be the only barrier to healing and wholeness.

The commitment includes
  • Monthly meetings of 1.5 hours as a group for teaching and prayer.
  • Reading assignments and quarterly reflection papers (reviewed by the Cohort Leader).
    Reading: 500 – 1000 pages per quarter
    Reflection papers: 1000 – 1500 words
  • Monthly one-on-one with the Cohort Leader.
  • Two retreats annually (one in the winter/spring and one in the fall). Retreats are normally in-person. But, accommodations to participant schedules can be made at the discretion of the Cohort Leader.
The content includes
  • Identity,
  • Family Systems,
  • Grief and Suffering,
  • The Emotive Life,
  • Boundaries,
  • Life in Community,
  • Healing Prayer,
  • Disciple-making, and more.
